My beautiful Telescope

So,this is one of my telescopes,N.1 in New Mexico hosted at May Hill, affiliate to iTelescope.net

Location

Observatory: Mayhill, New Mexico (New Mexico Skies) – MPC H06

(TEL T5  0.25-m f/3.4 astrograph + CCD)

UTC Minus 7:00. Daylight savings time is observed

Minimum Target Elevation: Approx 15-25 Degrees

N 32° 54’    Decimal: 32.9 North

W 105° 31’ Decimal: 105.5 West

Elevation: 2,225 metres (7,298 ft)

Operational Notes

Medium Wide – Deep Field. Science Platform. Typically used for Science Missions. Photometry and Narrowband Imaging. FITS and TIF file formats. Sub-exposure times should be kept to 60, 120, 180, 300, 600 seconds for optimal results. Binx1 – Binx2. Non Anti Bloom Gate (NABG) CCD. Bright stars will bloom or bleed in long exposures.

T5 is one of the busiest remote telescopes on the iTelescope Network. It allows its many drivers to gather valuable science data with its moderate wide angle FoV and sharp Takahashi optics. Coupled with its ST10XME CCD NABG camera, T5 can go very deep and wide with ease and very high reliability. But care should be taken by those new to NABG cameras.

Veil nebula (ngc6960)

This is a quick test I did last summer to check something on the filter wheel of my telescope in New Mexico. It is the famous Veil Nebula (ngc 6960) in Cygnus,a part of a supernova rennant called Cygnus Loop.Takahashi Epsilon250  at http://www.itelescope.net  T5,H-alpha.RGB filters. The exposure was something like 10 minutes for channel,40 minutes in total.Enjoy.

Fog…magik fog

A short time lapse showing how fog comes and go in a magic dance.I was not sure to put the camera out, sometimes fog looks just like…fog, but with time lapse it is possible to catch something special that we cannot see normally.Interrupted by…dead battery.Canon G9,Lightroom,Sequence,Final Cut.Sum of 557 images.Enjoy
